Rosemarie Henkle was an integral part of the Goodwill Theatre project and the Schorr Family Firehouse Stage. Rosemarie set up the Firehouse Box Office system and for the majority of shows in the seven seasons of Firehouse programming, patrons saw her smiling face as she handed them their WILL CALL tickets. Rosemarie trained the staff and volunteers how to keep the system organized and running smoothly.

Rosemarie loved the performers and she loved patrons. She loved being a part of the “art scene” in whatever shape it took. She was always willing to give her time, energy experience and her advice.

“Rosemarie was particularly close to John Covelli and the Piano Plus Series and for this reason Goodwill Theatre will be dedicating the concert on Sunday to Rosemarie Henkle,” says CEO Naima Kradjian. “We would not have been able to get the Firehouse going without her. Our General Manager, Christine Springer knew we needed Rosemarie’s help and she was correct. Plus, Rosemarie was so pleasant to be around which is particularly helpful in a new organization. She was one of our biggest cheerleaders and we were happy to give her an artistic home where she could continue to inspire and give of her vast knowledge in her later years.  We miss her terribly.”

Rosemarie was the winner of the Inaugural Goodwill Theatre Billy Boysick Volunteer Award which we started a couple years ago. This award is given to  a volunteer that exhibits a welcoming spirit and is a loyal Goodwill Theatre ambassador. “We have been blessed over the years with support from truly extraordinary people like Billy Boysick and Prudy Georgia who have also passed away. But Rosemarie Henkle was in a class by herself. Her singular dedication is an inspiration to us all,” added Kradjian.

Tickets for Covelli and Friends are $25 for adults, $20 for seniors and students. The Firehouse also offers a 20% discount to veterans and teachers; however, discounts cannot be combined. Tickets can be purchased online or by calling the Box Office at (607) 772-2404, ext. 301.

The Schorr Family Firehouse Stage, located at 48 Willow Street in Johnson City, accepts cash, checks and all major credit cards. Doors open approximately one hour before show time. General Seating is based on a first-come; first-served policy.  Refreshments will be available for sale.
